Negative Approach was born in Detroit, MI. in 1981. They released one ten song 7 and a full length (both on Touch and Go) before disbanding in 1985. John Brannon (vocals) went on to form Laughing Hyenas. Negative Approach’s minimalist and aggressive brand of punk inspired countless hardcore bands around the globe. Their classic LP, Tied Down, is still in print and considered paramount by most any hardcore fiend.
We are proud to announce this special fifth Negative Approach x Character exclusive limited edition series NA punk flyer deck. This board celebrates 40+ years since the historic Detroit punk record “Tied Down” Album was released. Tied Down is hands down one of the most influential punk records of all time!
Very limited edition of only 40 decks pressed. Made in the USA. This series is a full top and bottom hand-stained black deck. We are releasing 15 each of the black stain signed by original members John Brannon and Chris “OP” Moore and 15 each unsigned. (edition of only 40) hand numbered. A must-have for any NA or punk collector.
